Description: The pronghorn is a small, hoofed animal,
approximately 1.2 m (4 ft) long, and standing 81-102 cm (32-40
in) at the shoulder. Bucks weigh 45-63.5 kg (100-140 lbs); does
are 4.5-9 kg (10-20 lbs) lighter. Coloration of the body is a
rich tan with white underparts and rump patch. Horns grow from
the frontal bone just in back of the eye socket and curve back
with a forward-pointing prong about half way up.
