Diet: Omnivore. Food includes fruit and insects.
Breeding and Maturation: Clutches of 2-4 eggs are laid.
Incubation 12-14 days. Both sexes incubate the eggs and care for
the young. Birds fledge the nest at 21-28 days.
Miscellaneous: Endangered. Reasons for decline include
habitat destruction, possible competition from another starling,
and excessive capture for the cage-bird trade.
