The numbers are very poor for a Jambi-Siri mating. If two cubs were born, the net change in gene diversity for all of captive Sumatran tigers would decrease by 0.16%, fallng from 91.41 (that is, 91.41% of the original gene diversity still retained) to 91.25. That's the last thing we want to happen from a captive breeding. Besides, Siri has had many litters already and her genes are well represented in the tiger SSP populations. We will inform you of our breeding recommendation soon.
