Amazing Animal Adventures
All A.M. Sessions
We’ll embark on several animal expeditions with Riley as our guide (based on The Adventures of Riley series of books by Amanda Lumry and Laura Hurwitz). First, we’ll explore the new and exciting Russia’s Grizzly Coast exhibit on a Survival of the Salmon adventure. Then take in a Dolphin Show while tracking Dolphins in Danger. Our field work will also take us to Madagascar and India to study lemurs and tigers. Don’t miss this amazing journey!

Aquatic Animals & Art

Dive into the world of art while taking a closer look at the aquatic animals that live at the zoo. Campers will make sand art, and other unique water-themed crafts as part of this creative camp.

Join us to learn about some of the techniques used by archaeologists and paleontologists as they try to unlock the mysteries of the past. We will recreate a dig-site on Zoo grounds for a truly “hands-on” experience! Only those willing to get dirty need apply!

Photo Safari

Say Cheese! Come experience the animals at the Zoo through the eyes of a lens—a camera lens that is! Each safari trip through the Zoo will add pictures to your homemade photo journal. Our animals are ready for their closeup, are you?

Have you ever wondered how to make homemade ice cream, how volcanoes are formed, or even which clouds mean bad
weather? Then this is the class for you. Have a “zooper” time on your quest to explore the mysteries of the natural world through experiments, games, and hands-on activities.

Walk & Squawk

Spend a week walking and talking with the animals. Burrow with the meerkats, brachiate with the gibbons, and echolocate with the dolphins. Discover the wild and wacky worlds of animal communication and locomotion that inspired Dr. Doolittle to sing!
