How to Register
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
ONLINE REGISTRATION:
Online registration for summer Zoo Camp 2008 will begin in mid-February. For specific dates visit our Zoo Camp page. For hints on how to register see below.
Once you are in the registration system, if you encounter a problem, please call 952.431.9320 and leave a message. Phone calls will be returned in the order they are received from
8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 14-Saturday, February 16.
Please also be aware that while many camps sold out quickly last year, other camps (especially 3rd - 6th grade) had plenty of space available after the initial registration day. If you have flexibility with your camp and date options, we recommend registering some hours (or days) after the official start of the registration process.

Computer Needs
Our online registration system requires Netscape 6+ or Internet Explorer 5+. If you do not have one of these browsers, please upgrade before registration (www.netscape.com or www.mocrosoft.com/downloads.) It is helpful to disable pop-up blockers/controls prior to registering online.
Full classes
If you are interested in a class that is already full please register for the class waitlist. This is very important. Registration errors will cause some camps to sell out prematurely. We will use the waitlist to fill spots as they become available. You will see "wait List" next to the class title if a class is full. Just click on the box next to the class title to get on the wait list.
Please be aware that while some camps such as Toddler time, Photo Safari and Zoo Crew sell out quickly other camps (typically grades 3-6) will have plenty of space available after the initial registration day. If you have flexibility with your camp and date options, we recommend registering hours (or days) after the official start of the registration process.
Mail-in registration
To register by mail, fill out and send in the attached registration form (on the back of the catalog). Please use one form per child (photocopies are acceptable). Please give a second and third choice. To ensure that your child and sibling/friend will be enrolled in the same camp session, registrations must be mailed together. Mail your registrations with payment to:

Please note there is no on-site registration. However, registration forms will be available at the Guest Services desk between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. You may fill them out and leave them at the desk. They will be processed beginning Monday, February 18.

Participants mailing in registrations (and registrations dropped off at Guest Services) will receive a confirmation either by U.S. mail or by e-mail within two weeks. It will include information on drop-off and pick-up locations.
Confirmations
Online registrants will see a confirmation that they will need to print once they have completed the registration process. Although another copy will be e-mailed to you it is important that you enter the class(es) your child is enrolled in on your calendar now. Note the information packet link in your confirmation. You should download and print it off. It contains important camp information, including drop-off locations. Remember that all farm classes get dropped off at the Galaxie Gate as noted in your confirmation.

Payment
Payment is due with the registrations. We accept payment by credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express) or by check payable to the Minnesota Zoo. Online registrations must pay by credit card through our secured online service.
