Cancellation, Transfer and Weather Policy
If you need to cancel your registration in a program, notify the Education Department at (952) 431-9320 no less than 10 days prior to the programs for a refund of 75% of the program fee. No refunds will be made less than 10 days prior to the programs. If you find your own replacement, please notify the Education Department. In some cases we may be able to transfer you to a similar program if given at least two business days notice. A transfer fee will apply.
Cancellation Policy for Group Overnights:
If your group chooses to cancel, 50% of your deposit will be returned up until two months prior to the overnight. After that time, your deposit and any balance paid becomes 100% non-refundable AND will not go towards any outstanding balance. The Minnesota Zoo reserves the right to cancel any scheduled overnight should circumstances warrant. If this occurs, the zoo will make every effort to reschedule your group. If rescheduling is not possible,we will refund your money. All information is subject to change.
Weather Policy:
In the rare occasion of severe or inclement weather that interferes with scheduled programming, the Minnesota Zoo will contact scheduled participants by phone the morning of the program to notify of program cancellation. If you are not contacted, you may assume that programming will take place as scheduled. If you are unable to get to the Minnesota Zoo due to weather conditions, please call 952-431-9320 to notify us.
