Teacher Workshops
Course 868: Camp Ed “ZOO” cation
Make the Minnesota Zoo your next education destination! Explore the activities and resources available to you and your class by participating in this 2-day workshop. We will introduce you to interdisciplinary education offerings and help you to integrate a Zoo visit into your curriculum.
Get an overview of the Zoo and trails, attend shows, venture behind the scenes and practice hands-on acitivities you can take back to your classrooms. Come discover our multi-curriculum learning facility. Recommended grades K-6.
When: July 14-15, 2010 from 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Where: Minnesota Zoo, Apple Valley, MN
Instructor: Zoo Staff
Credits: 2 for $299-credits earned through Augustana College

Uncovering the Oceans
November 5-6, 2010
Explore sharks, dolphins, and coral reef communities and gain insight into marine ecology and conservation.
Experience hands-on activities that help to teach about the marine environment and our need to protect the seas.

Saturday, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
