Registration

To register, send an email letting us know you'd like to come to Home School Day with your name, student's name and grade level for each child.

Home School families, come spend a day at the Minnesota Zoo as you begin your science curriculum. Home School Day this year will focus on wildlife in tropical hot spots - endangered regions around the world! Come see the newest Minnesota Zoo exhibit 'Faces of the African Forest' as students learn along the Tropics Trail.

A variety of learning stations taught by the Zoo's naturalist staff will be set up for students of all grade levels. Receive an activity book with a scavenger hunt, puzzles and locations to collect a stamp at each learning station. Then enjoy the rest of your day with other Home School families seeing the remainder of the Zoo. More information will be sent to families who have registered.

Time:   Zoo opens at 9:00 a.m. 
Education stations open from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Cost:
Grades K-6: $8/student
Grades 7-12: $10/student
Zoo members: $3/student
Chaperones: One free adult per family.
Additional adults: $10.00
Parking - $5/car (free for Zoo members)
