Hootin’ and Howlin’ Family Overnight at the Zoo

Wolf

Follow our tracks to the Zoo’s Minnesota Trail for an overnight learning adventure. Individuals and families are invited to relax and experience the sights and sounds of our Minnesota animals, both feathered and furry. As the moon rises we’ll go behind-the-scenes to investigate the mysteries of the Gray wolf and a Minnesota owl with a Zookeeper and bird handler. Then we’ll create a unique take-home project and join in some fun hands-on activities. At the end of the night we’ll nestle down in our North Woods lodge as a chorus of Minnesota animals lull us to sleep. We know you’ll have a “paws”-itively good time!

Cost includes all activities, a behind-the-scenes tour, evening snack, breakfast and a T-shirt. This event is open to people ages five and older. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Fees: $45 per person for Zoo members, $65 per person for non-members. All overnights offered Fridays starting at 7 p.m. and ending at 9 a.m. the following morning. After the conclusion of the program all participants are invited to enjoy the rest of the day at the Minnesota Zoo.
