What animal is called el oso del Sol? How about la castor or der delphin? Plan a field trip to the Zoo with your language students and discover fascinating facts about these and other Zoo animals, all in the language of the day. You and your students can visit over 30 animal stations throughout the Zoo. Upper level language students use music, costumes, and props to interpret the animal exhibits. Your students each receive a "passport" which gets stamped after listening to the presenter at each station. All days are geared toward language students in grades 7-12 and elementary immersion students.
