Where are the tropical forests? Why are they so important and
worth saving? What can we do to help? We explore these and other
issues by "building" the layers of a forest in your
classroom. We'll look at animals that live on the forest floor
like the Hissing Cockroach and ones that live high above in the
canopy layer like the Amazon Parrot. You'll discover how they
can't live with out each other and we can't live without them,
or the wonderful forests that they inhabit.
