 Are you looking for a space for your group to gather? Try the Tropical Tent at the Minnesota Zoo. The Tropical Tent is located on the upper plaza, close to many of the Zoo exhibits and amenities. It is the perfect place for your next family reunion, small company picnic or group gathering. The Tropical Tent is available June through August.
Size: 50 guests or less
Amenities: With the rental of the Tropical Tent, you receive: 
- exclusive use of the Tropical Tent for the entire day
- Tables and chairs
- Personalized sign at the Tent
Rental fee: $175 (No food & beverage minimum) non-refundable and required within 10 business days after confirmation of your reservation to secure the site.

A minimum of 20 admission tickets are required to get the Good Any Day Rate.
Reservations: When you reserve the Tropical Tent, you have the tent the whole day. A non-refundable rental fee of $175 is required within 10 business days after confirmation of your reservation to secure the site.

Scavenger hunt:
Great team building or family activity, $2.00 per person.
Parking:
$5.00 per car. You may purchase 15 or more parking tickets for $3.00 each. These tickets should be ordered with your admission tickets.
$10.00 bus parking & $15.00 motor coach.
Monorail:
$3.00 per person (20 person minimum). These tickets should be ordered with your admission tickets.
IMAX:
Enhance your Zoo picnic with a visit to the IMAX Theater. Please call 952.431.9701 for special pricing.
Zoo Bucks:
These special dollars can be used throughout the Zoo to enjoy the many different options we have to offer- including the Monorail, food service, and gift stores. All Zoo bucks are sold in $1 increments. They are a great way to add a little extra to your company picnic.
