The monorail gives riders a bird's-eye-view of hardy, northern
hemisphere animals including Bactrian camels, musk oxen, moose
and Amur (Siberian) tigers. Each naturalist guide's narrative
is structured, yet spontaneous, taking advantage of animal activity
and seasonal changes.
The monorail is open every day, except during dangerous weather
conditions.
The cost is:
$4.00 per person for ages three years and older.
$3.00 per person for pre-registered school groups.
$2.00 for Minnesota Zoo members.
Children two and younger are free.
