Opening Weekend May 25-27
Travel half-way across the world and into the heart of the African savannah, complete with giraffes, ostrich, bongos, wildebeest, addax and guinea fowl. With the option to hand-feed giraffes, you will feel like you're on safari!
Then, go back in time 65 million years with 20 larger-than-life animatronic dinosaurs!
Dinosaurs! is a separate fee attraction. Zoo member discount rate is $3.50 per member.

Giraffe: Known as the "lookouts" of the savanna.
Bongo (pictured right): Prefer the dense tropical forests.
Ostrich: The largest living bird, eight feet tall, 300 pounds.
Wildebeest: Known as the "clowns of the savanna."
Addax: Critically endangered Antelope.
Guinea Fowl: Native to Africa, and admired by farm hobbyists.
