Minnesota Zoo's "Love Tour" Gives a Glimpse into the Private Lives of Animals

Apple Valley, MINN – January 28, 2010 – The Minnesota Zoo’s 6th annual “Love Tour” is a perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The Love Tour offers a glimpse into the private lives of a variety of animals. From courtship to breeding, our furry, feathered, and scaly indulge in exotic romantic rituals.

For adults only (ages 21+), the Minnesota Zoo’s Love Tour is a one-of-a-kind experience. After your tour, enjoy a romantic and sumptuous dinner in Discovery Bay. All proceeds benefit conservation programs at the Zoo.

EVENT SCHEDULE:
· 5:45-7:15 p.m. Narrated tours of the Tropics Trail highlighting breeding behaviors (tours run every 15 minutes; each tour is approximately one hour and includes one complimentary glass of champagne per person)
· 5:45-7:30 p.m. Hand-passed hors d’oeuvres
· 7:30 p.m. & 8:30 p.m. Romantic dinner in Discovery Bay (includes salad, dessert, and complimentary glass of champagne)

Space is limited, so please R.S.V.P. for the “Love Tour” online at mnzoo.org. The cost for this exotic tour is $175 per couple (price includes tour, dinner, complimentary glass of champagne with tour and dinner, and a special keepsake. Each tour and dinner time will be determined when the reservation is placed.
