Join the Wildest Volunteers Around as the
Minnesota Zoo Celebrates 35 Years, Dinosaurs, and Africa!
Information Sessions April 15 and April 22
Apple Valley, MINN – April 3, 2013 – Looking for a truly wild time? Become a volunteer at the Minnesota Zoo and meet new friends, learn all about animals, and provide an invaluable service to the Zoo and its guests.
Ever been to Africa? Maybe you would rather go way back in time to the age of dinosaurs? Or perhaps you are just as happy in your own backyard on our Minnesota Trail with black bears, lynx, beavers and other animals that roam our great state. And if none of the above sounds like the right fit for you, perhaps volunteering at the Wells Fargo Family Farm working with piglets, goats, rabbits, chicks, cows meets your interest. Volunteers can have each of those experiences while they’re at the Zoo. We are seeking people 17 years of age and older who are interested in volunteering a five-hour shift, volunteering a five or seven-hour shift one day a week during the summer months.
Two days of training sessions are required: May 11, May 18, May 19, depending on your choice of program. You’ll find the entire application process posted on-line at www.mnzoo.org. Click on volunteer at the top of the page, or for more information, call 952.431.9588.
